About mem1.wiki
What's here today
- 9 tools — concrete software (Obsidian, Notion, LightRAG, mem0, qdrant…).
- 4 methods — named systems and processes (Zettelkasten, PARA, GraphRAG…).
- 3 patterns — recurring positive designs (atomic notes, HyDE, reranker stage…).
- 3 anti-patterns — known traps to avoid.
- Topic graph tying the 19 entries together.
Why this exists
The PKM / memory-for-agents space is fragmented. Vendor blogs sell tools, forum threads relitigate the same debates, and academic papers describe methods in isolation. There is no single place where you can compare a method to a tool to a pattern on the same page with the same vocabulary. This site is an attempt to build that.
How to use it
- Browse by entity type in the top nav.
- Use Smart search for semantic queries — "best tool for atomic notes", "how to avoid knowledge graveyards", etc.
- Every entry shows reciprocal cross-references and AI-written comparison paragraphs to nearby entries.
Who it's for
Builders deciding what to use, researchers mapping the field, and writers who want a citable summary of an idea. Not for vendors looking for SEO placement.
